This jacket is amazing and it’s tricky to get the rightsize because these B-3 jackets start very bulky and make you think you got it too big, but after a few weeks of wear it’s starts to form down a little bit and the schott staff helped me pick out the correct size and I’m so glad with it. I will be wearing this jacket for the rest of my life most likely, highly recommend and worth to mention it is the warmest coat I’ve ever had.

An absolutely gorgeous jacket that looks just as good in real life as it does in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The quality is outstanding and the jacket feels premium and hard-wearing.

In my experience the sizing guide on the website did a good job of approximating how it would fit on me, I went with a size 32 as suggested and it fits quite well in my opinion. From what I understand these jackets do break-in and become more comfy, as out of the box it's a little stiff which I expected.

Some people online said you can roll the sleeves if they feel a little long and you certainly can at least once. I think it may be personal preference, as the sleeves seem to be designed to come down past your wrist slightly.
It feels quite tight to zip up but judging from what I've read that is normal, due to a tighter fit being better for keeping the harsh, freezing wind out. The zipper feels strong and sturdy.

The shearling is lovely and soft to the touch, very warm and cosy!

Despite having to pre-order and import the jacket, it was delivered way faster than expected, I couldn't be happier with the delivery time. The leather was hydrated out of the box, I've seen some people say theirs arrived looking quite dry, I'm not sure if this is because I had to pre-order so the jacket was made very recently. Everyone seems to have their own favourite leather balsam to hydrate the jacket, but many say Renapur is perfect for it.
I read that Schott themselves advise against using any kind of product on the jacket however, but if you want to preserve the darker brown colour, it seems you have to use some kind of balsam on the leather.

These modern versions of the jacket seem to run quite a lot bigger than the vintage ones, so definitely bare that in mind if you are considering buying a vintage rather than new. There's also a Schott brand that's sold in Europe which is cheaper, but from what I understand the materials and craftsmanship are lower quality (hence the lower price)... Schott NYC is the real deal however and top-notch!

Overall if you're looking for a superb jacket which will last a very, very long time if taken care of appropriately, this is the choice of an avid jacket collector.

I'm extremely happy with this jacket and I'm glad I took a slight leap of faith and bought it, I can't wait to see how it develops a patina and breaks in!

I bought this earlier this year and it's very good it looks exactly like leon kennedys in resident evil 4 remake which is arguably the best in the franchise, when it arrived everything looked good, I will say mine did come with a slightly dry look to it but just buy some leather balsam from Renapur, it brings back the shiny look to the jacket which is nice, I would also recommend that you go down in size by 1 or 2 if you want it to be for a intended/ slimmer look. I have a 39' chest at 19 and got a size 36 as I read reviews of people who have a 42' chest and they had to go down to a size 38 after multiple returns. I knew I would grow more in the future so I only went down 1 true size just so it's almost got a tailored kinda look to it. Since I have extremely broad shoulders I had to make sure I got the right size first try which I did. Overall very good jacket, I'm actually going to use this jacket in Spain for an upcoming mission that the president of the United States wants me to complete. Something about his daughter heh who knows. Hopefully it all goes well.... where's everyone going, Bingo?

Fits great! I ordered a smaller size due to the comments I read regarding bulkiness and length based on my size. I was worried at first, but it ended up being a great decision. The jacket fits great, waist length as I wanted it. I am 5’10, 175 lbs. I didn’t want it to look too bulky and long on me. So, ordering the smaller size fit perfectly. And yes… it looks like the jacket worn by Leon Kennedy in RE4 Remake. It also reminds me of the jacket worn by the character Bombsight from The Boys. I would highly recommend it.

Really love this jacket! Gorgeous jacket! Super warm! Feels super luxurious! Now I'll admit I paid a pretty penny for this, but I know this thing is going to last me for a very long time and it's worth the investment for the cold Winters where I live, as well as a huge nostalgia piece for me since it's the official RE4 Leon Kennedy jacket.

Absolutely brilliant jacket, can't stress how much more confident I feel when wearing it. It has honestly exceeded every expectation and fits amazingly, would highly recommend.

Truly just an amazing jacket. Very soft and stylish. The leather was a little dry when I got it but after conditioning it,it looks perfect.

What a fantastic piece of clothing! Even in the 20s, just throw it on top of a tshirt and you are good to go. If you don’t want too much fades/scratches, just apply two coats of conditioner and good for the season. This is my primary NYC winter jacket and I can vouch for it.

This is my first b3 bomber jacket i first bought the a-2 naked cowhide jacket but when i saw the b3 i was impressed how it looked so i bought it as well and i love how thick is the shearling it does keep warm and also love how the shearling is exposed at the cuffs and waist only thing i would have liked personally is if the jacket was about 2 inches longer at the waist i feel like it is a bit short all around though the jacket sure does make a statement!

?I purchased my B3 Shearling Bomber back in the 1996-1997 timeframe, and I can honestly say it is one of the best investments I have ever made. After nearly three decades of wear, this jacket still looks amazing.
?The leather has developed an incredible character over the years, and the shearling remains as warm and comfortable as the day I bought it. It is rare to find craftsmanship that stands the test of time like this. If you are on the fence about the price, just know that you are buying a heirloom-quality piece that will serve you for a lifetime.

As a die hard Resident Evil fan nothing makes me happier than owning Leon’s official jacket from RE4 Remake. The quality is definitely worth the price. This will be my forever jacket

It's nice. It is absolutely not almost 2 THOUSAND DOLLARS nice. Not even close. I've had jackets similar in quality over the years for a quarter of the price, and I can not fathom why they also INCREASED their price on jackets they already had made, sitting for years from 1500 something to 1690.

My jacket doesn't appear to have the sort of shine you see in the photos here, and mine also seems much more worn, with the leather seeming more full of breaks so to speak, and the stitching around the cuffs was pretty shoddy. I'd add a photo if I could.

I also am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of customer service. I asked their chat a few questions regarding this jacket in November about maintaining the jacket, did I need to do like some kind of polish or something, that kind of thing, and I was hoping for a response before the Black Friday sale ended.

Never heard a word. Tried their chat again in December. Never heard a word. No contact, nothing. You guys are asking nearly two grand and you can't even be bother to respond to a message? That's not even lazy, it's disrespectful.

So yeah, it keeps you warm, although a lot of the reviews in this thread are HEAVILY exaggerated as if it could keep you warm even in the literal Arctic. Come on, it's not THAT nice and warm. I was also surprised how light it was, I expected it to be quite a heavy jacket and somewhat more thick, but no. It's surprisingly light.

Is it a decent jacket? Yes. Was I disappointed after having wanted this jacket for YEARS? Well considering the price and the overall just DECENT quality of the jacket, yes. Yes I was. This will be the first and LAST thing I ever purchase from Schott. You can bank on the majority of the reviews being over hyped just because of Resident Evil 4.

There's a reason why these jackets are conventionally sized and also a reason why people have sizing mishaps. I'm 196lbs and 6 ft and wear a 42 chest in almost everything. I don't have a wide midsection. I ordered a 42 and it fits me just fine. In my view, if you want to use this mostly in urban areas, you are likely not going to layer up much and so sizing down will give you a snug fit. If you are going to use it in truly very cold places, and layer up with say a thermal and a medium fleece, your regular size is perfect. You will definitely not need to size up.

My B3 Bomber Jacket fits great on me - so comfortable and very warm but I was kind of bummed out- when I got this jacket the leather was more dry then smooth and also it was slightly discolored . It was LIGHT BROWN and just look dirty. So I had to oiled up and cleaned the jacket myself. Then I talked to some man who works at Schott and he told me they don't reoil and cleaned the jacket - they ship out as is. I couldn't believe. I paid over $1700 and get a jacket which the leather was dry and discolored LIGHT BROWN. I really wish Schott would clean and reoil the jacket BEFORE shipping out to me. You know you should always keep your customers happy that way. Also what I wish Schott would do is when they make the straps with the buckle- use a shiny brass buckle with Schott name on it - instead of the dirty looking buckles. I found that to be more attractive to style of the jacket especially when you buy a new jacket costing you over $1700.00. As matter of fact I also bought a Cockpit B3 Bomber last year- their leather was smooth and dark brown and their buckles was shiny brass with their name on it. I have nothing against Schott but I really think you should be cleaning and reoiling all your jackets BEFORE shipment. Also get rid of the dirty buckles on those straps and use the shiny buckles. But that's Schott call . I hope Schott would take my comments serious and think what I just said. I always have and I always do like Schott! I'm just trying to help them out on quality control on their bomber jackets Overall the B3 Bomber jacket is totally awesome. I really love it.

As a kid, this was one my dream jackets…. Now that I’ve grown up, somewhere along the way, the desire to wear this wonderful jacket in the cold winter days came back. I bought it and have immediately fallen in love with it.
The Craftmanship is fantastic, materials are of the best quality, and when I wear it I feel like I am being hugged by a warm friend.
